We operate primarily during the time traditional providers of mental health services are closed, such as holidays and weekend. Turning Point is a peer-driven program designed for those living with mental illness, or recovering from substance addictions, who wish to embrace the concepts of Recovery and Wellness. We are a new consumer-run program, and are working toward establishing a website; and a center of our own, which will offer us the opportunity to grow in our unique and personal journeys toward recovery. Wellness Recovery Action Plan Groups
Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) is a plan you create for yourself to take control of your own wellness. It is a tool to help you manage your symptoms instead of your symptoms managing you. You can learn to create your own plan in a group led by your peers. At VOCAL we train people to lead these groups all across the state.
