“Telling Your Story: The Ways We Are Stronger” will guide participants to the heart of their personal story of transformation and resilience and then craft a narrative that can be shared publicly. How a person chooses to share their story afterwards is completely self-directed. Our facilitators we have been asked to raise awareness by speaking to policy-makers in Richmond, psychology students in universities, at storytelling events and in our own faith communities, to name a few.
This conference is free, and a hot lunch will be provided, but registration is required. Funding has been made possible by SAMHSA, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. https://www.samhsa.gov/
