Vocal Virginia/Year of the Peer Shared Conference

Vocal Virginia will hold its annual conference in conjunction with the Year of the Peer Conference. The conference will occur on May 22 and May 23, 2023, at the Omni Hotel in Richmond at 100 S 12th St, Richmond, VA 23219. The conference will have several speakers, including DBHDS Commissioner Nelson Smith, First Lady Suzanne S. Youngkin, Dr. Ijeoma Achara, and Rosalind Wiseman, and multiple workshops throughout the two days.

Vocal Virginia’s annual meeting will occur at 5:45 p.m. on the 22nd, where Vocal Virginia members will vote on important organizational business. Please plan to attend.

The conference registration is free and limited to 350. In addition, an extremely limited number of hotel rooms at the Omni are also available at no cost.

Don’t worry; once those rooms sell out, there are plenty of hotel rooms around Richmond that you can book separately at your expense. We encourage you to register early. Registration begins April 3, 2023, at 9:00 am. More information and registration can be found atwww.virginiayotp2023.org.
